Dubai’s real estate market has also demonstrated a very strong performance in property delivery. In the first half of 2024, 12,900 apartments and 3,925 villas were handed over to new owners. The pace is expected to keep up, with another 20,000 apartments and 5,000 villas set to be delivered by the end of the year.

Majid Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector at DLD, said the new system will “protect investor rights, speed up and simplify processes,” and ensure more transparency in the market. The DLD will also provide training and support to ensure high-quality transactions and accurate records.
